Bring a host device, an internet connection, speakers and some pens. We’ll bring the bingo tools.
Hosting requirement: an active YouTube Premium subscription. This is separate from your Music Bingo subscription. Sign in to YouTube on the same device and browser you’ll use to host.
What does the host need?
A laptop, tablet or phone with a browser, reliable internet, speakers suited to the room, printed tickets or ticket PDFs, and an active YouTube Premium subscription. Sign in to YouTube in the browser used for hosting and test the sound and recordings before the event.
Do players need to download an app?
No. For a traditional venue game, players use physical tickets and pens. The host runs the game from their own screen.
Is it suitable for a small event?
Yes. Select a custom ticket count from 1 to 216, or use the quantity presets. Mark any unused tickets before the first draw so only tickets in play are monitored for winners.
Do I need a YouTube subscription?
Yes. We require hosts to have an active YouTube Premium subscription, purchased separately from YouTube. Sign in on the same device and browser you use for Music Bingo. This subscription is separate from Music Bingo access and does not replace any music permissions needed for your event.
How does the music work?
The programme plays 45-second clips through embedded YouTube recordings. Hosts are required to have YouTube Premium and be signed in on their hosting browser. Recording availability and regional restrictions can still affect playback, so check links before the game.
Does the programme include music licensing?
No. Venue and event organisers are responsible for checking the music permissions and licences appropriate to their event and use of the recordings.
